Because of its strong menthol scent, it is not recommended for pregnant women, breastfeeding mums, children under 3 years of age, people with asthma, epilepsy and high blood pressure. Best practice is to use peppermint essential oil during the day, rather than the evenings, and with moderation.

This peppermint essential oil comes all the way from our suppliers worldwide, and is bottled in the fragrant aromáma laboratory in Lithuania. Every single bottle is touched by our beautiful Goddesses’ hands.

How to use:

    • In case of bronchitis, sinusitis, pneumonia use peppermint essential oil in a diffuser. Mix peppermint with eucalyptus or rosemary essential oils to enhance the effect. These essential oils have a strong disinfection effect on the airways, they stimulate the immune system and help to recover faster. Furthermore, the essential oils cleanse the air, and prevent infection from spreading around the house. 6 to 8 drops of essential oil will be enough for the diffuser.
    • When travelling long distances, use peppermint oil in the car. It promotes concentration and prevents from falling asleep.
    • Give your home that feeling of extra freshness and cleanliness by blending peppermint with grapefruit essential oil. 3 drops of peppermint essential oil with 5 drops of grapefruit essential oil in your diffuser will do an amazing job.
    • During the winter season, add 10 drops of peppermint essential oil to a bucket of water, dip the cloth or mop into the bucket and clean your furniture surfaces and floors, this will give your home extra freshness.
    • If your nose is congested, apply a drop of pure peppermint oil on your palms, rub them together and inhale it for 30 – 60 seconds. The same way of inhalation is useful if you have a headache or nausea.
    • Peppermint oil is great in the sauna. Pour hot water into a metal bowl or a tin, add 20 to 30 drops of essential oil, keep it in the hottest corner of the sauna, and enjoy the scent. Never pour water with essential oils directly on hot stones – high heat will not only kill all the therapeutic properties of essential oils but also release compounds harmful to health. High heat and essential oils are incompatible.
    • If you have a headache, get half a teaspoon of lotion or natural oil (camellia or sweet almond), add few drops of peppermint oil and rub the mixture into your forehead, temple, back of the neck and shoulders. It will be an instant help and relief. Never use pure undiluted peppermint essential oil on larger areas of skin, menthol can irritate it.
    • In case of bloating, indigestion or constipation peppermint oil is a great help, since it tones the digestive system. Massage your tummy in a circular motion, clockwise with 5ml of any vegetable oil and 3 to 4 drops of peppermint oil. Repeat it several times a day.
    • During summer time, when the days are hot, use peppermint oil to cool you down. Drip a few drops of peppermint essential oil into your shower gel or body wash at the time of use. It will give you a cooling and refreshing sensation. You could also experiment and give your daily shampoo a little twist too; it will make your hair look shinier. We recommend adding essential oils to a single amount of the product, before use, because adding essential oils to the entire container can affect and change the consistency of the product in a long run.
    • After a long day, after wearing high heels our feet get tired and sometimes swollen. Make yourself a relaxing and cooling foot bath: to a handful of salt add 5 drops of peppermint essential oil, add that salt to a bowl of water and soak your feet for 10 to 15 minutes.
    • If you overworked in the gym, have sore muscles, painful joints or a tear in a ligament, massage those sore areas with the following blend:

50ml of sweet almond oil + 5 drops of peppermint + 5 drops of lavender + 2 drops of chamomile (if you have it).

    • Peppermint oil has antibacterial and refreshing properties, so it is great for mouth rinses, especially for those with dental problems. Make your own mouthwash/mouth rinse by mixing a teaspoon of salt with 2 to 3 drops of peppermint oil, and dissolve it in a glass of warm water. Rinse your mouth several times a day. It is recommended for people with periodontal disease and for those who have bad breath.
    • Spiders, insects and other parasites hate the scent of peppermint essential oil. Clean the floors with a bucket of water with peppermint oil and for those specific areas where spiders live spray well with the following mixture: equal amount of water and white vinegar (1:1) with 20 drops of peppermint oil.
    • In order to get rid of mosquitos and ticks, apply a few droplets on outwear. Essential oil will evaporate with the help of body heat.

EXTERNAL USE ONLY. Keep out of the reach of children!

IMPORTANT! We recommend performing a skin sensitivity test before using any new product. Apply a small amount of the oil mixture to the inside of the forearm and observe for 30 minutes for any unwanted reactions such as redness, rash or itchiness. If any reaction occurs, do not use the product.
