Cedarwood essential oil is one of the first essential oils to be used by mankind for therapeutic and aesthetic purposes. In ancient Egypt, Cedarwood oil was used for embalming. The wood is extremely hard, dense and fragrant. For these reasons, it is considered one of the most resistant: it is not affected by time, environmental factors, pests. That is why sarcophagus, ships and temples we build from this wood. In ancient cultures, Cedarwood was considered a symbol of eternity, patience, endurance, and unwavering faith. Cedarwood oil has sweet and heavy aroma of luxurious wood. It is used to diffuse in exceptional homes and offices: the scent exudes luxury, nobility, aristocracy.

Synergies with frankincense, cypress, bergamot, grapefruit, orange, neroli, rosemary, lavender, eucalyptus, pine essential oils are most common.

Cedarwood essential oil is safe to diffuse around babies from 6 months, in contact with the skin (diluted!) – from 2 years.

It is recommended to avoid during pregnancy, safe during breastfeeding.
